The children receive nurturing in a loving environment where they feel secure and are encouraged to explore their world and surroundings in a safe caring atmosphere and are given developmental challenges to encourage their growth.
- Every aspect of the day becomes the infant’s curriculum. Through close interactions with his or her caregiver, the infant will develop listening and language skills, hand-eye coordination, along with small and large motor development. Music and reading are also an important part of each child’s day. All of these activities combine to provide a rich and stimulating learning environment for infants. Even through feeding and diapering meaningful interactions between caregiver and infant is crucial. It is an important time for eye contact and verbal interactions with the infant.
The infant’s schedule is geared to the needs of the individual child and his or her family. Reading, outside time, music activities are added to the child’s sleeping and feeding pattern to enhance their development. Information sheets are given to parents daily to update you on your child’s day.
